Rachael's Full Month Party

The day was finally over! I started planning it even before she was born but yet only settled the things days before the actual event. All I can say is, it's finally over.

I had quite a few negative feelings about planning this whole thing.
1) Hubby is so busy, that I had to settle everything myself.
2) My mum was bugging me about it weeks before and kept hurrying me. (I also want to settle it ASAP, but I don't even have time to sleep!)
3) After I've done ordering then my brother came to give me suggestions on the menu on the day I need to finalize the buffet. (This always happens...)
4) Actual day then asked me why I ordered beef. (Nobody told me not to order beef. I like beef rendang, so I ordered what I like.)

The thought of yesterday actually seemed so unreal. I'm just so glad that it's over! We survived! I depleted all my milk stores and have to start collecting all over again. Thank God for bringing us through. Thank God that everything went well despite whatever negative feelings that I had.

We were all tired, extremely tired. Especially my family. Without my hubby, bro and mum, it wouldn't have been possible too. They stayed throughout to help from beginning till the end and they all need to work today. I'm just praying hard that Rachael gives me some rest today. I'm tired, thirsty and hungry.

Now I can't wait for Tuesday to be over. It will then be the official day to break away from confinement. I want to get out of the house and have food that I like. I want to drink what I want to drink and not depend on the red date water. The whole of yesterday, there was only one small thermal flask of red date water for me. When I got back home, I could only drink milo. Drank 3 packets of milo since last night because there's no other things that I could drink. Sometimes I really wonder if it's a myth that we can't drink plain water. Anyway, 2 more days! Tahan!

Lastly, some photos from yesterday! This is the first time that Rachael is using the car seat!

Ordered cupcakes as I didn't order any sweet stuff from the caterer.

And while it was her day, Rachael was sleeping throughout as she was passed around for photo taking. When everyone left, she woke up! When she got home, she was even more alert. OMG!

So well, Happy Full Month my little precious girl! Mummy is so glad that you are growing well. Mummy is proud of you! Continue to be cute and lovable and please cultivate some patience!
